Join On The Move & Soul Xpressiion School of the Arts in Orange, NJ for a Night of fun with good music, dancing, and food!

The first hour will be a dance class with a guest instructor, Meka, a well known Afrobeats dance instructor! Class Starts at 7pm.

Tickets with dinner purchases end 2/17 at 6pm! Please be sure to get your tickets early as the price will increase soon.

Bring your dancing shoes and have some fun with us!

Past Events

This program is an open level dance program for kids ages 4 to 12 years old. Each day is broken into segments, and children should bring a snack and water each day. In each class, students will receive individualized attention and feedback and may be called upon to demonstrate movement. participants will be expected to practice outside of our sessions to be prepared for the final presentation for parents, families and friends on the last day of the session at 3:30pm.

art breaks are a time for children to express themselves and make creative choices in other ways besides movement. At the end of the week, the project they work on daily is theirs to take home.

Session 1 : August 5-12, 2024

This session is comprised of hip hop, jazz and contemporary dance technique; Art Breaks and games both outside and inside. In each class, students will receive individualized attention and feedback and may be called upon to demonstrate movement.

Session 2 : August 12-16, 2024

This program is an open level worship and praise dance program using flags and veils. There are Art Breaks and games that take place inside and outside, as well as incorporation of prayer and worship time.
